This blog is a project of inquiry into some of the more problematic aspects of Buddhist teachings. Some of these aspects are the sometimes readily accepted cultural accretions and myths that have been absorbed into the Buddhist narrativewith little or no critical analysis; inconsistencies in logic; questioning the relationship between traditional interpretation and modern research that contradicts those interpretations; and various other facets of dialog and praxis that have proven to be of dubious, if not outright negative value for a number of practitioners.

It is my hope that this blog provides some basis for reflection, and spurs honest questions that lead to clearer perception on the part of students and perhaps additional tools for teachers.
